Been a long and rainy season, hasn’t given me much reason
To think that things could change
Haven’t felt hope for a while, think I almost cracked a smile
It felt a little strange

Even the darkest days won’t last. Been waiting a while for this forecast
Maybe we’ll finally see what they’re telling me on the TV – Nothing but 

Blue Skies ahead – Not sure I believed them when they said

It’s been cloudy for a long time, can’t remember when the sun shined
I hope it’s here to stay
Cuz the wind feels like it shifted, and the clouds have finally lifted
I hope they stay away
